– Main fabric: Usually 12oz FR fleece made from 55% Modacrylic / 45% Cotton blend or 100% FR-treated cotton fleece. Modacrylic blends are “inherent FR” — the protection won’t wash out.
– Color: ANSI/ISEA 107 Hi-Vis Yellow/Green — for daytime visibility
– Reflective tape: 2″ FR-rated segmented silver reflective striping — won’t melt/drip. Pattern is vertical over shoulders + horizontal around chest/arms for Class 3 visibility.
– Thread: FR Nomex thread on all seams so they don’t fail in flash fire
– Hardware: Plastic zipper is covered/minimal. Hood has no drawstring — drawstrings are banned in FR because they can catch fire.

4. Care: Wash with mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener, no DEET. Tumble dry low.
